I am Second - The Lord is First

"We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed." 2 Corithians 4:8-9.

Recently I had some events that totally took me completely off tracks, the journey and goals I had written over and over. I believe that I had learned the correct path to life and success and wanted to help as many people as possible. Unfortunetely I had some circumstances that derailed my experctations and made me re-eveluate my purpose.

I realized that even though my faith in God was strong and I was committed to following him, I had not completely surrendered ALL things to Him . I was living on my own pride and strength rather than His. I did not put the full armor of God daily(Ephesians 6:13) The Belt of Truth, Breast Plate of Righteousness, Shielf of Faith, Helmet of Salvation, and The Sword of the Spirit (Word of God).

The creator of the world has chosen us before we were formed in our mother's womb, therefore he will call us back to His path either through love or pain. The prize is His Kingdom.

"Neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" Romans 8:38-39.

The recent events has completely turned many things around in my life and brought me down to my knees and unsure of my purpose that I believe I had all figured out. But even though I fell, stumbled, and was brought to the ground, I was able to be on my knees and pray to the Lord who is in control of all things. The Lord knows my heart, intentions, and my Goals + Desires.

"But if you understand that God is in control of all things and that life is unfolding according to His master plan and purpose, then you have to look at what happens in your life and conclude, God knows all about this. He has allowed this to happen. God is in control of all outcomes. he has a way through this difficulty and a good result at the end of this dark tunnel. God is at work fashioning all things to His Glory. He is going to work all things for my eternal benefit." Chuck Stanley.
