The world is full of challenges and curve balls. Sometimes it seems like we cannot get on the other side. Be of good cheer, I say. Jesus Christ overcame the world. How could a man, suffer as much as he did get through it all. Well, the spirit of God was upon him. He was patient and persistent. He was God, who came in the form of man into the world, to face exactly what everyone faces everyday in order to prove to us, that we too could overcome the world through God.
What is there suffering? Because of sin. Just imagine one thing. God having all the power in the world. Creating every single creature that exists, from animals, plants and humans. Then all He wanted was us to love him the same way, he loved us. What did humans do after they were created. They completely ignored the Lord. They went about their business and wanted to do their own thing without any regards for the creator. If you were in God's position (of course he is all knowing and knows more than us), but what would you feel? What would you feel if you created something to love you because you love it, and it did not care about you. If you had a child that you gave everything to, and it did not care about you? Uhmmm, It would be challenging right.
So God separated himself from us until we admit that we needed him and let him back in our lives. He let us fall down and make mistakes until we asked him for help. He let us feel pain and have challenges, not to make us suffer but for us to grow and become better.
So whenever you have a challenge in life, do not be discouraged. The longer you stay discouraged, the longer you will feel pain and stay in the trial. Why, because the Lord has a blessing in disguise. He is trying to teach you something. With every challenge and trial of life, there is something that He is trying to teach you. No matter how small or big. So do not waste your energy letting the pain absorb you. Stop, take a deep breath, and ask God : "Lord, what are you trying to teach me"? Believe me, he will show you.
Then focus on learning what you need to learn. He will always give you double for your trouble, as long as you seek him with all your heart, with a pure heart. He knows your heart better than you do. He created you. He has been around much longer than any of us. He knows our nature and when we are going to make mistakes. Do not, I emphasize, Do not! Wrestle with God. You are not going to win. He is in complete control. I wrestled with God for so much that I wore myself out. Trying to fix my own problems. When he wants you to do something, He will show you the way. Therefore, as the bible states, "Be Still and KNOW that I am GOD". That is what God himself says. Be still! Flood your mind with Him. Let him absorb you completely.
Then have faith. He will Bless you beyond your imagination. No, he will not make a million dollars fall from the sky. Why? Because he knows you will fall down again. He will give you exactly what you need, at the right time. He has the whole world precisely timed at the milisecond. The way the world orbits around the universe. The 28 degrees tilt of the earth's axis. Everything is precise. He created every flower and every star in the galaxy. What makes you believe you life was not divinely orchistrated.
Seek the Lord when challenges come. Maybe he wants you to seek him even further. Have a personal relationship with him. The world is much beyond what we see with our own eyes. Then expect his blessings!
